Evening Bag Sterling Silver, Fired Enamel with Stripes on Guilloche Salimbeni

Evening Bag Sterling Silver oval shaped in 925/1000 sterling silver with stripes of fired enamels in two colors on guilloché and hand engravings. Size cm. 8 x 4 x 16 – Evening Bag Sterling Silver inside beveled mirror and lining – weight g. 480-  Late Empire style Napoleon III. Evening Bag Sterling Silver is Created in 1982 from a design by Giorgio Salimbeni. Manufactured in Florence in the Salimbeni factory with completely manual execution by artisan artists with high thickness plate and big reinforcements suitable to support several enamelling firings at about 800° C., with “lost” hinge, that is semi-invisible. Excavation of the “beds” where the enamel is placed with a depth of about mm. 0.4 by means of burins and subsequent guilloché engraving, which is a craftsmanship performed on precious metals that allows to obtain engraved surfaces with complex geometric patterns and repeated. The technique consists in engraving the metal with a burin by means of a machine with manual controls. Subsequent execution of manual engraving of the ornament in Empire style. High-fire enameling, with numerous firings, with translucent white and light gray colors and black edges. Sanding and subsequent manual engraving of finishing.
