It has miniature enameled with 20 firings in the Louis XVI style of the second half of the nineteenth century.
The romantic scene is surrounded by a frame with fine engravings which are then shown on all the sides of the object.
Pillbox Louis XVI Style Beyond the frame, the cobalt blue enamel of excellent workmanship completes the surface of the lid.
The Item is square made entirely by hand in 925/1000 silver measuring 4 cm. x 4 cm. height 1.2 cm. for a weight of 53 grams.
Produced in Italy, Florence, in 1979 in the Salimbeni company.

Miniature is a very ancient technique which consists of painting works in small proportions.
It was born for the decoration of the first letter of the paragraph of the books.
Over the years, however, this technique is refined and enriched, then moving on to precious personal items.
Hand-painted miniatures can be done with multiple different techniques.

2) Water tempera on an vegetable ivory plate.
3) Painted on mother-of-pearl.
